Summary: This is a monumental piece of journaling by Frances Wilson Osborne (1851-1940) of Sutherland, NC and Bristol, TN. She is the great grandmother of Glenn N. Holliman, founder of this site. He transcribed her diary in 2010-2011, finding her journal in family papers. The original diary is in the Archives of Applachian, ASU in Boone, NC. Shirley Sorrell added comments at the end of this 160 page work. There are biographical notes by Glenn N. Holliman in the introduction.
